If Jefferson had a competent QB coach i'd agree that the experience excuse is a cop out.

but he's basically learning on his own out there. Crowton cannot develop a QB. He is incapable of it.

I doubt that JJ will be much better than he is now. He doesn't consistently play smart. An example: toward the end of the first half on 3rd and 10 he runs out of bounds. Because of that ARK was able to score before the end of the half. If he had not gone out of bounds we could have taken about a minute off the clock with the time it would have taken for him to get up and the time for the officials to blow the ball ready for play. this may have left Ark without enough time to score (FG).
