That is a hell of an idea, can someone give me a not too sweet, recipe that can be prepared, served chilled on Thanksgiving.
My mother in law (ex) used to make a Red Rooster or something like that, but when I look up the recipes they seem too sweet.
A blonde sangria sounds pretty good,but I wanted something with a lil more kick.

red rooster has good color. I am thinking absinthe to get through the in-law parade.

My favorite cocktail of late is still the Crescent City Cooler
Fille Highball glass with ice
add 2-3 Oz of Cruzan guava rum
3 shakes of bitters
1 oz lime juice or concentrated lime syrup
Fill glass with Ginger Ale
Enjoy
