Finebaum is a tool but I can't dispute much of this.

Now Miles had made the LSU nation look simply idiotic. This is a man who makes $4 million a year and he can't figure out the basic fundamentals of football. Duh!

He has a reputation as a great recruiter. Even after Saban, five-star blue-chip talent continued to flock to Baton Rouge. If you're a high-school football star who watched Saturday's sideline meltdown, would you seriously consider playing for this comedian? There are turning points in everyone's career. Saturday was that seminal moment for Miles.

Who gives a shite what a sportswriter 2 states over, with an obvious bias & agenda, says? The funny part is the opening line where it's almost as if he feels the "LSU Nation" deserves better. He doesn't. So frick him and the people who hang on his every word which, judging from the 'Bama posters on this site, don't necessarily even include a large contingent of their fans.

PF is a tool.

Yes, he is. He might be right about what he says here, but it's not like it's some kind of original thought. He's just piling on with everyone else. It's easy right now.

Tell me this face isn't just begging for a fist shoved down the throat.

He has been called the "most important man in the SEC by the Orlando Sentinal!"

Sure, the same point would apply to that game, I suppose.

Finebaum wrote the article in the hopes of swaying recruits from LSU. F him.

I do agree that this seems to be a seminal point in Miles's career. He's either going to have to turn it around here or he's not going to get another big-time job.
AD's live under the CYA principle, and nobody is going to risk their reputation hiring him after that very public meltdown.

Whether or not you agree with it, after the last 2 years, the "won with Saban's players" is the accepted explanation for Miles's success here.

Scary record between Saban (15-0) and Miles (7-8) the last two years...the tables may definitely be turning. With every win that Saban gets, it hurts recruiting and future wins for the program.
