Okay,
But what about the DE's?

Does he like a Tyson Jackson or a Kirston Pittman type?

Do the Big DT's clog the middle for the DE's Too?

I would think that if there are big dt's in the middle that you would have to have some hefty de's to in run situations or they can be whipped all game long by a running team with small lb's behind them.

From what I've heard, he treats defenses like a Roman army. The DL are like the infantry, Big strong guys that hold the line and he uses his LB's like cavalry, fast guys that can easily adjust to whatever the situation is.

As far as what type he likes, just look at his recruiting.

He likes Big DE's that can contain and medium sized DT's that can hold their position, but may bust through once in a while.

He used monster DT's at UT, but when you have guys like Haynesworth, you recruit and play them no matter what.

My info is all either observed or from UT fans. Look for Nevis and Downs to be major contributors and Davenport to be depth.
