I would go with run pass run kick. the major focus should be to place the ball for a FG but going for the EZ on one play isn't a bad idea.

I see no problem with passing it once in that situation but not 3 times. Yes we were in range but if you can make it easier, do it. We were passing well that drive so try ONE, but not 3.

The only pass that would be acceptable would be a screen. Any incomplete pass stops the clock, essentially giving Ole Miss a free time out. Better to make them burn it and not have it on their final drive than for them to have one timeout remaining.

Besides, with them blitzing the hell out of JJ, they should have called a screen anyway.

Going for the EZ is OK, unless you get sacked for a 9 yd loss! Has anyone show him (JJ) what the pocket is? Maybe another thing Gary C. overlooked!
