This. Correct me if Im wrong, but it looked like the "call for the spike" was right after Tolliver made the first down...When the players were calling for the spike, when he thought he had more time. The kicking motion was after that.

It looks like he is saying spike it,,,then he realizes that it is only 1 second then he wants to kick it. He should have had the field goal team ready just in case,,,,,,oh well another loss

MSU,

While I thanked you earlier for agreeing to make the video available, I feel different now.

Oh. My. Goodness.

He was calling for the FG when the offense was on the field. Then, he called for them to spike it. It looked like he was trying to get them to spike it after it would have been too late to get the FG unit on the field. Why didn't he get the FG unit on the field.

The offense had time to run over 40 yards down the field, line up, look confused, and make a mess of things. Why can't you run the FG unit on the field????

He told them to spike it after there was no other choice. But still, the sideline is in complete disarray. We can't handle success.

Fine, but nowhere in any of his press conferences/interviews did he mention this...he just flat out said he didn't motion for it and that he didn't know who did

I'm not taking up for him but that could have been a bad gesture but he could have been yelling snap the ball or something. He probably didn't know what the frick was going on.

I don't care if he signaled to spike it or to kick it....HE DID BOTH so clearly he had no clue what was going on and was not in control Even our QB was confused in his post game conference and said he got that call

THEN HE LIED ABOUT IT

Miles is kicking for a filed goal at 28 seconds, but later on at 1:27 he's running making the spike it signal.

It looks like he's yelling to spike it right after Toliver is tackled, but later on he's yelling for the field goal team, by that time it was way too late.

he must have wanted jefferson to kick the field goal because the fg team was nowhere on the field.

Whatever that was though it was beyond a clusterfrick.

If he goes I hope for the best. But I doubt it.

Folks, he is "waving" his hand down. That may have very well been a motion to stay on the field. He then clearly motions for a FG, LONG before J got the mesage to spike from the "play caller" as JJ called him

At least you admit that he called for the spike. Which is inappropriate given the scenario.

He's yelling to spike it right as Toliver is tackled and LSU is running up to the line. He yells for the field goal team too late right before LSU snaps the ball.

He's not doing the spike signal. He's doing neck.
