What most people refuse to understand is that the dynamic in the $EC west and Louisiana has changed dramaticly since saban left LSU after his 'mediocre' season in '04. When saban was here Bama was down because of another cheating (imagine that) scandal and the loss of tv and schollies...ole miss was down because they were still fighting the civil war...moo st was down because, well...everyone knows starkville is a blackhole in the universe...arkansas was decent and Nutt is always a formidable opponent...the aubies were the only team that could compete (see Bama loss of schollies) and Tuberville could, on occasion, coach a good game.
Fast forward to the now...the $EC west is loaded with talented, agressive coaches who not only know how to win...but are siphoning off much of the talent we used to get. This is not an excuse for Miles but is a realistic look at how much harder the job has become since saban fricked us in the arse and Katrina-Rita savaged many Louisiana HS football programs.
Exactly!!

I am not old enough to fully remember the "bad" years with Curly and Dinardo, but it has absolutely nothing at all to do with what happens now.
That explains everything. Only thing I can say is follow another team?
