Saban has revitalized two down SEC programs in the last decade and brought one a national title and may do the same with the other

You may actually be suffering from Sabanitis. Obviously, you forget 2002 and 2004 at LSU. Not sure if you should consider a Bama as down SEC program before Saban took over. In 2005, when LSU played Bama they were 9-0 and ranked no. 3.

If Saban has a bad year in 2010, will it be because Bama is depleted of all Shula talent?

There was similar griping in 2004. People thought Saban was more focused on his NFL opportunities. Rantards then suggested that 2-3 of the wins that year should have been losses.

Do my statements above disparage Saban. Heck yeah! Does that make him a bad coach. Hell No! Quite a few factors affect a team's performance each year. Injuries, schedule, recruits that pan out or not. Some 5* recruits did not pan out at LSU. Some due to injuries (Amp Lee). If same thing happened at Bama over the next couple of years, that does not make Saban a bad coach or poor recruiter. Sometimes its the luck of the draw.

This focus on Saban is an attempt to show that Saban could fail, if stuff happened like it did in 2002 and 2004. Miles is going through it. But he does not have the luxury of following poor/bad coaches like Saban did at LSU, Miami, and Bama. Like Saban says its 'relative'.

Is it the luck of the draw that there are only about 10 offenses in the nation statistically worse than ours even though we have arguably Top 10 offensive talent in the nation?

Was it luck of the draw last year that we had the worst defense in the SEC?

Was it luck of the draw that Miles had no contengency plan for RP, a known bad character?

You can argue with me all you want, but deep down you know and fear that I am right.
