that's what happens when you can't complete more than 5 passes in the 2nd half of games.

2nd half completions in 2008:
Ole Miss: 5
Arkansas: 3
GT: 5

it also doesn't help when you struggle to get 1st downs on passing plays in the 2nd half. 2nd half first down stats from those games:
Ole Miss: 5 first downs, 3 passing
Arkansas: 3 first downs, 1 passing
GT: 6 first downs, 1 passing (by our Dalfrey on a fake punt)

Jordan Jefferson really struggled in the 2nd half of games last year. And, he's even struggled some this year in the 2nd half.
