BASKETBALL REPORT

Went to the game and this is what I thought

Taz very good player
Spencer very good
Harris shows promise
Bass good roll player
Dotson just needs a little time will be player
green useless
Zac k can play SEC basketball
storm very very much improved
lugwig to soft for SEC

First game, as a true freshman, and the judge slams the hammer down on the kid?

Give the player sometime. Just because an young guy ain't ready for the SEC today, doesn't he'll never be ready for prime time. Practice and patience is a virtue Coach Johnson will use to his advantage.

Harris was very explosive last night. I was most surprised by him. I think he will be a big time contributor this year.

Taz looked solid.

Spencer looked really good. I expect to see him at the 2 a lot with Bass at the point.

Bass played very well at the point.

Dotson needs work. A little confidence will help him a lot.

Ludwig and Green didn't show me much on offense but provided some good D; especially Green. I don't look for him to score much this year.

Overall the team looked good. Need to work on the turnovers, but they looked very well coached.
