Yes. Yes it was. The ref threw a flag for it. But the false start negated the play.

False start means the play never happened.
Therefore, we can't be penalized on a play that never happened. As always, I HTH.

My wife asked me the same thing after this play. Doesn't make sense does it? So, from now on, whenever a false start or a procedure penalty is called, it's open season!
