While Miami and VT were in conference, RR went 3-8, 9-4, 8-5.
With BC still in conference, but Miami and VT off to the ACC, RR went 8-4.
With the three bogeymen left, RR went 11-1, 11-2, 11-2.
Maybe if he comes to LSU, then Bama, Florida, and Georgia will all leave for the ACC, and we'll replace them with CUSA teams? I bet Les Mile's record would be pretty sweet if that happened.

Not only is RR losing games, he's alienated the entire fanbase. I would be very surprised if he stays.
Maybe Miles is their man again.
By God please let it be true. Might not be able to sleep tonight thinking about this. Seriously the thing that scares me the most is what kind of tier 2 coach LSU would pay 1.5 mil to come here. And be in the same scenario we are in now.

Ok genius, who will LSU hire if Miles ever leaves for Michigan?

A better replacement?

How is the University of Alabama irrelevant?
He was called Mike Dubois, Coach Fran, and Mike Shula. That is how they were irrelevant.
Tubberville would be a terrible choice. He totally screwed his offense last year and he does not seem to keep any coaches long. Besides he was blown out by the PAC 10 teams everytime he played them.

Whats your point, I'm not following you here. All these answering questions with more questions is giving me a headache.

If Miles were to actually go to Michigan this time around, I would be pissed if we got anyone other than Brian Kelly.

you're horrible at this, fwiw
you think a guy is a bad coach at a 2nd tier program cause he couldnt win the big east when it had 2 super powers in it? well no shite, sherlock
that was all Rodriguez's fault, too.

Jeff Fisher will be available.

Ty Willingham took over from some guy named Bill Walsh - you might have heard of him - and had a worse record every single year for five straight years (declining record each year).
Jim Harbaugh took over a bad Stanford program and has had more wins each year since he took over a 1-11 program.
Better each year is better than worse each year.
No wonder you like RR. He took a perfectly good Michigan program and screwed it up. Ty Willingham is a pretty good comparison.

Miles lost 5 SEC games last season. We only play 8 SEC games. Yeah, he's elite.

No, I think a guy is a bad coach when he takes over Michigan - the winningest program in football history - that beat Florida in a bowl game in the final game before he got there - and goes 3-9.
Then follows it up with 5-5 so far this year with 2 tough games remaining.
Worst two-year stretch at Michigan in many decades.
That's bad coaching.
This is really simple.

Tuberville was the 2004 recipient of the Walter Camp and Paul Bryant Coach of the Year awards after Auburn's 13–0 season. He earned his 100th career win on October 6, 2007 in a 35–7 victory over Vanderbilt. He is also the only football coach in Auburn history to beat in-state rival Alabama six consecutive times
The Auburn Tigers were a perfect 13–0 in 2004 including the SEC title and a win over Virginia Tech in the Sugar Bowl. Tuberville received Coach of the Year awards from the AP, the American Football Coaches Association, the National Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association and the Walter Camp Football Foundation.
In 2005, despite losing the entire starting backfield from the unbeaten 2004 team to the first round of the NFL draft, Tuberville led Auburn to a 9–3 record, finishing the regular season with victories over rivals Georgia and Alabama.
Tuberville coached 19 players who were selected in the NFL draft, including four first round picks in 2004, with several others signing as free agents. He coached 8 All-Americans and a Thorpe Award winner (Carlos Rogers). Thirty-four players under Tuberville were named to All-SEC (First Team). Eighteen players were named All-SEC freshman. His players were named SEC player of the week 46 times. He also had 2 SEC players of the year and one SEC Championship game MVP.
