The SEC commissioner won't be reading emails from fans. They will only answer to their sponsors.

If you are serious about protesting league officiating, contact SEC sponsors. Write a simple, polite letter explaining your position. Tell them you will no longer purchase their products until the SEC initiates real change. Include a "thank you for your concern". No foul language, poor grammar, ranting. Look for the major sponsors on the SEC website.

This method is most commonly used against broadcasters, but it works against any organization dependent upon corporate sponsors. No company wants to be associated with controversy, and if enough fans complain, the SEC will be forced to respond.

If you send a letter to them, please make sure to hit on some Christian aspects regarding the cheating and how it is not of God. You won't purchase their product as long as they are supporting a conference where such sin occurs blatantly without remorse.

Will you post this in the SEC Rant for other SEC fans to see? I'm sure some Arky, USC, UGA, and UT fans would like to participate.

Remember, you don't even have to allege there is a conspiracy. Simply say the league is hurting schools with its poor officials. You can back door the conspiracy by letting them know that some fans think the league is fixing games.

Done. Closing my Region's accounts this week. I don't have an AT&T phone - and will not in the future. Don't drink Dr Pepper - the stuff is crap, anyway. Quaker State? No more use of their products. As for the smaller corp sponsors, I'll avoid spending my money w/ them and I will encourage others to do the same. No matter what Slive does to try and protect the image of the league, the damage is done.

If all these companies got a few thousand emails from around the SEC I would bet the company would talk to the sec. These companies are trying to spread good feelings about themselves. They also know for every email they get there are many more fans that are acting along the same lines and just dont send emails.

Allstate, Twitter/Facebook, AT&T, and Nissan are all your best bets.

Tell Allstate we, as fans, will demand LSU take down the stupid Allstate net in the north endzone to preserve the historical integrity of the stadium.

Furthermore, they sponsor the Sugar Bowl.... say something about that.

ETA: threaten to go to the sponsors of the sponsors. i.e. tell Facebook you will contact all of their sponsors, etc.

Companies use metrics for determining what complaints actually represent across their customer base. This is why it is imperative not to sound like a crank. Each legitimate letter will be assumed to represent multitudes more who are quiet.

Got 5 minutes during lunch, call up a local Chik Fil A and tell the manager you aren't eating there today. Follow up with an email to the national customer service people.
