Trent Richardson is a father.

"When everybody’s tired, he gets you going again and gives you that second wind you need," Jones said. "Catching that interception showed the type of player he is. He played a limited role in that game, but he made the best of it. He's basically like our 13th starter on defense, and we all love him."
That might explain why our defense has looked so good lately.

Wasn't talking about Jai, I was referring to us having 12 defensive starters...

Could be, I was thinking maybe McCray, or he may have just been talking without thinking.

Here's what he probably meant:
We basically have 13 guys who are starters, 11 get the start, but any combination would work...

the part i found a little funny is, Jai was the qb at destrahan. JJ was the backup
but he does say JJ is a way better qb.

He was my favorite recruit in his class which was keliands if I remember correctly. Jai was a five star on scout and I guess you could say he has underacheived relative to his ranking coming out of DHS but he has always been a team guy and obviously loves LSU and his family.

Who can forget this infamous towel waving?

I'm kinda impressed that the Reveille actually wrote something positive about a football player.

Kevin Faulk was a father in HS and that is the reason he went to LSU. He was the one that started"bringing back the magic."
