It was sarcasm by Miles, but he literally said he finally told him. First call was about not going vanilla (Jim made a comment about not seeing the last two weeks, guy kept going about the vanilla-ness and such)
Beaux, you re-hooked me at the end, so I can't complain. I just have a horrible attention span.
Evil Twin has an actual bit of history for once, I think he f'd it up soon after though.

Thanks Jeannie,
The head football coach at LSU should take advice from some skank that knows jack about football and "don't kick to Arenas"

Well, in all honesty, no worse than right after the Florida game when every call had 3 plays to add to the playbook for the Coach.

did miles really say he told crowton "to open the play book"
I really find this hard to believe.
Caller from Morgan City said we played vanilla against Florida. Are we finally going to open up the playbook?!
Jim said quickly 'he must not have seen the last two (games).'
Miles said (paraphrasing), 'Yeah, I think I'm gonna tell Gary to go ahead and open it up. We haven't even looked at it yet.'
Freaking HILARIOUS.

No shite? Rarely do we ever have a caller call in, say what he has to say, then hang up. I hate the people that call in and linger for 5 minutes. to JPLSU

"the opportunity to advance the ball is certainly what we're all about."

talking about line schemes and that if we can get 14-17 pts we should be able to come away with the W

Lady beating up Miles for running the score up on Tulane

Not stressed. He's very loose. You must be hearing our last coach's attitude, cause he was playful in the response, not napoleonic.

Beaux, thanks for sharing the poem, it fired me up man! Really enjoyed it, especially the ending. If you got a copy of of it I'd love to have that and share with some friends. ryan_payne4@yahoo.com

I am excited about the offense being wide open for this game
