Call me a spoil sport, but the idea of drive thru alcohol just sounds terrible. The societal cost is not worth the convenience. Is this worse than a bar? Yes, placing the alcohol in the vehicle is ridiculous.

People want freedom, but sometimes the losses to our common good are too much. The cost of drunken driving is horrific, ask anyone who has lost someone

so do you must not have alcohol at your home. If so then where did you get it? From a store? If you did then you brought alcohol into a vehicle.

If saying that being able to buy alcohol without getting out of your car is what creates the risk for drunk driving then that is assuming only lazy people drink and drive. The twist off cap on a bottle of crown is just as easy to get into as poking a straw through a plastic lid.

The problem of DWIs comes down to irresponsible drivers not vendors. If you support making vendors responsible then you should supports a bill that causes anyone walking into a bar to forfeit their keys.

I am not sure what local regulations BR may have in place BUT you do not need any special permit from the state (and most local entities) to have a drive thru at your bar.
