And my point is that it doesn't really matter what an offensive lineman is ranked coming out of high school because there's no way to really measure who will be good and who won't. Their 40 time? Bench Press? None of that matters. It's all about how well they learn technique and footwork.
See my example above. Ciron Black was barely a 4 star OT according to scout, #31 in the country and he's been our best lineman the last 3 years. It's ok to focus on WR rankings, and QB rankings, and hell even RB rankings most of the time, but a greater percent of 5* OLinemen don't pan out compared to any other positions, and a greater percent of 2 and 3 star OLinemen become first round draft picks compared to any other position.

point taken - fair enough, but I still think we lack the same level of talent in the OL.
