well I see the OL recruiting situation this year as below average for an elite program. fordham may never pan out as an OL, Hardrick is JC guy with 2 years to play. only true OL for the future is Washington and he is in only his 2nd year of football. not a good situation.

That's the thing though. It's really hard to grade out O-linemen so a lot of the top programs just take big guys and hope they become good. That's why there arent many O-linemen at the top of any recruiting boards because they can be really hit and miss. It's all about how you develop them.

It would be nice if you could make trades in college football and we could trade some of our surplus athletes for O-linemen that turn out to be good, but when they're a senior in high school it's hard to tell how they'll play in college.
