That's a good question. Here's one thought: the coaches should put together a reel of Scott's most successful running plays this season--like for example, his first carry of the Auburn game where he ripped off 8 yards with ease, or his best carry from the Florida game--and figure out ways to duplicate them. Yeah, this is a no-brainer, and I don't claim to have much x/o knowledge, but I wonder if simply paying closer attention to the mundane details that make up a 6-, 7- or 8-yard gain wouldn't lead to more of these successes. I'm guessing--betting--the coaches already do this shite, but just the same ...

Why isn't Blackwell starting? Is he suspect in pass protection? Or should I say more suspect than JoshD? It's not like he's stoning defenders on pass plays. I would think Blackwell could do as good a job in pass protection, but then again I don't see them at practice.

is my assessment correct? i thought we had allen in at fullback for this play and ran out of the I. i never saw them try it again. i was a little puzzled.
