The problems occur whenever LSU runs the pistol formation. I would love to know what LSU's average yards per play is from that formation for the year. Everytime LSU lines up in it, JJ has to look to the sideline and wait. It just seems to kill any rhythm and continuity LSU has going on a drive.

LSU is an I-formation team and is at its best on offense when it is running the ball from that formation and running play action off of it.

Furthermore, when you have first and goal from the one yard line, you do not have JJ carry the football. Why would you do that when you have Charles Scott or Keiland Williams to hand the ball to? Makes very little sense. And if you are going to run a naked bootleg from there, then at least give JJ the option of having someone to throw to.

Just my thoughts. But, overall, a much improved performance by LSU on offense.
