Wrong Allen--Don't you mean Dominique Allen? Jordan is a high school senior who'll be a Tiger next season.

Shepard 10-12 touches = not playing, so Allen getting some snaps = transferring?

By all means, let's take the only true FB we have and burn his redshirt for a few snaps in the 7th game of the season.

Exactly

Also - We intend to open up the offense = we plan on running Charles Scott up the gut whenever the opponent loads the box.

Maybe Allen hasn't been ready until now.
The FB's we've played to date, haven't been all that effective.
The meat of the season is coming up, so if a player can help you then you have to use them.

Hhhmmm... 5-1 and our FB play has been suspect.

Coach Miles apparently decides to use a guy who can contribute significantly to going 6-1, 7-1.... etc, etc.

And he gets RAILED for it.

TARDS!

But on the other hand if and I mean if LSU goes on to win out and play Florida for the SECC and plays for the BCS NC, then what will the TARDS say by Les playing Allen?

i'm sure Allen has looked great since he arrived on campus, and Miles hasn't played him just to piss off fans. i mean really! i think the man who stands to loose his paycheck wants to win more than anybody. high school to the SEC takes time to adjust.

Matt Barkley would agree completely. Good thing he is playing a position much easier to learn than fullback.

The article in the paper today says that Allen arrived at camp overweight and overwhelmed by the college experience and schoolwork demands. Not unusual for a freshman. Miles made the right decision here and did not allow him to play while he got his feet underneath him. Now that he is practicing, playing, and being a student athlete better, it's time to play him.

Some Rantards think they know everything and take every opportunity to slam Miles. He does some dumb things admittedly but on this one he knows what he's doing.

I love this.

Bitch about not having a FB.....

We hear a true FB is probably grasping the offense and may get some snaps. More bitching.

WHAT THE frick DO YOU PEOPLE WANT??

Barkely enrolled at USC in January giving him enough time to adjust and learn the offense. Do your homework!
