The league would have survived. It would have contracted to recoup the irresponsible expansion between the 83 and 84 seasons, but it would have continued and succeeded as a spring league.

Chances are it would have ultimately merged with the NFL in the early 1990s.

Another great documentary in the 30 for 30 series. This one might have been the most entertaining one to me. Just flew by.

Crazy to think how they were able to take 3 straight Heisman Trophy winners. Can you imagine the UFL doing something like that? (Different times, I understand. Just thinking out loud.)
