Year after year, Miles doesn't get his backup QBs much, if any meaningful snaps/series, in the OOC fluff tilts.

Whether in professing loyalty to JJ as the guy, or in doubting JL's mobility given current OL issues/pocket breakdowns..

Why JL besides that one sharp quick hitter TD vs ULL from the goal line, hasn't gotten a series or two somewhere, just puzzles. But, it's been Miles general MO ever since arriving in BR.

You may be right about backups not getting much playing time, but that's because the starter needed it.

JR - Sophomore year starter, needed to get playing time
Flynn - backup turned Senior starting QB, needed playing time
Perrilloux - had meaningful snaps in 07
Hatch - needed pt
Lee - needs pt
Jefferson - needs pt
Shepard - needs pt

So with the 7 QBs we've used in four and half seasons, exactly which one should have been benched for the development of others?

The longest tenured starting QB for Miles was JaMarcus Russell: TWO SEASONS. I think it's a difficult situation.

if you want to talk about a coach with an MO for not getting their backup snaps, his name would be Urban Meyer.
