This is a can't miss SEC WR?

5'11" 180 at this point...decent size, but he is skillful too, and pretty fast.

and no, prob not a "must have" in terms of talent, but he is one of the top players in LA and that is why I think he is a must have. Hate to lose those top guys.

With that being said, dont sleep on the Wright kid from Belle Chasse. I actually think he is the best WR in the state.

exactly

some people are just football players, and he's one of them

people look at his measurables and think he's a dime a dozen, which I usually agree with that position. But after you see this kid play you can tell he's different...you get the It factor with him for sure

I never saw the It factor with Chris Tolliver, Kenny Bell and some other slot WRs we recruited out of high school ..Trovon looks like a bigger and better Wooten to me

Agreed, very impressed with him in the Dome last year. Also agree that the only thing that makes Trovon a must get is that #1 in LA ranking.

I agree with what you say about Lsu has a better history of producing receivers. I was just passing along the info of what schools he was really considering this time. Trooper Taylor and the auburn coaches are doing a real number on him. I saw a picture of him holding two footballs in his hands with a auburn jersey on. His love for auburn is real and don't be shocked if he chooses them. The only info I have on Florida is that one of the coaches told him that he was equally as talented as Percy Harbin coming out and that he would be used in a similar way.

see, from what I see from them both, I think Reed definitely has more upside than Wright

For a split end or a flanker, Wright is more of a dime-a-dozen recruit than Reed IMO. Trovon has the quickness, wiggle and overall skill set to be an elite slot guy

..especially when we appear to be lite on slot WRs on this team?

I know he hasn't signed or committed anywhere yet ..just wondering WTF is going on here

What makes you think that he just doesn't want to play for LSU?

I never understood the, we "lost" him mentality.

Maybe he just wanted to leave the state, expand his horizons...it's not always the fault of the coach/program/school.

That freaking bullshite. You owe that state that paid for your education and gave you a chance a good look and to sign if you fit a need . They leave knoe beacuse alumni of other schools offer dad a better job wqhich has been a violation for 50 years but ncaa is gutless and useless now

agree on your first two points. haven't seen either play obviously and defer to your analysis of on-field talent.
