Defenses know we cant throw, and then they put 8 men in the box and stop our run, its hard for the o-line to block 8 men...I grow tired of people blaming the o-line...The problem is quarterback, then people say he is 19, hell USC has an 18 year old. I think JJ is about like Tyler, which isnt good..Miles has confidence in JJ.and false confidence usually ends in disaster...Ward off disaster and change your quarterback... I saw shep play in High School and he can throw, maybe not with the velocity of JJ but he is effeiciant...Then the holes will open up in the running game...Thats why balance is the key...You cant be one dimensional and succeed, defenses are forcing us to be in our weakest part of our game....passing...Our quarterback is not learning or it takes him too long to learn.( a big problem at a competitive university) We already have one quarterback that has learned the hard way...put him in... usually when you learn the hard way you dont forget...Miles cant afford two years of learning quarterbacks...I think Lee is ready again...I liked him last year and I still do this year...Plus, Shep needs to play for at least the a whole series, a couple of times a game...and then he'll prove why he is so electrifying...he fumbled so what, he's a smart kid that doesnt take that long to learn a lesson...put him in let the fans see what ive seen the last two years here in houston...and for those of you who say high and college are different...believe me I know...but he's also averaging 7 yards a carry now isnt he...Let him run the offense for two series in a row...If I was rich id pay a million dollars to coach miles to let him do it...He's that good when you let him play and let him know that he's not coming out...He's ten times better in the clutch then Adam Vinetari...

Psst, Georgia and Florida did NOT put more than about 5 or 6 in the box. The OL is exactly the problem. If it wasn't, then with so few in the box with Georgia and FLorida, LSU could have run the ball much better than they did.

Randy Rosetta:
"The offensive line was unable to make much room for the running game or to protect Jefferson, who was sacked five times in the second half."
