The 15-yard penalty assessed on the ensuing kickoff, along with another five-yard penalty on Georgia for illegal formation on the kickoff, helped the Tigers start the next possession at the Bulldogs' 38-yard line.

And Somehow UGA didnt get the ball on the LSU 38? How the frick did the officials let that happen??

OHHHH RIGHT there was something about a 40 yard kickoff return!

Thats like saying that UGA would have thrown that TD pass to Green without the 42 yard reception before that.

Technically he never says that it was the wrong call or a mistake.

quote:

"This was coming from the perspective from the field of play. But we concluded that the video did not support the call."

quote:

Said Redding, "I don't doubt the official saw what he saw. We didn't see the player pulling himself away from his teammates and going towards the stands in a form of self-congratulation."

The call heavily impacted the game's outcome.

That's BS. And there were some no calls on holding against UGA that could have "heavily impacted the game's outcome". Just a pile of dawg shiet.

This doesn't make any sense then.

For the record, I think it was a crappy call, either way, but calling it a "mistake" two days later, and saying "but we don't exactly know what the official saw" seems to be an infinitely crappier precendent.

Terrible.

Sad sack homer bullshite from the Atl Jrnl Constipation.

You know what really "heavily impacted the game's outcome" ? us getting in the red zone 4 freaking times and coming away with only 6 points.

Dude, freaking "GET OVER IT!!!!!!" The refs did not cost us that game. Les Miles did. He played conservative all game and let Auburn stay within reach. LSU could've easily put them away but they didn't. Stop "BLAMING" the damn refs.

Who cares. We lost you won. We should have tackled better and used Ealey instead of (he needs to learn the blitz pick-up blocking BS coach speak) you always hear with young RB's.

Geez, when will this shite end? UGA lost because we can't cover kicks, our defense was tired from our offense sucking arse all day, we couldn't stop Scott, our QB can't hit the WRs most of the time...we did not lose because of that obviously retarded call.

I hope our team is focused on UTurd and not this shite.

We will never get the apology from Slive or Rogers Redding, Head of Fotball Officiating, but the referee of the 06 Auburn game was released from the SEC and is now a official in the Mid America Conference. This was confirmed by a SEC official.
