maybe...maybe not. You can't deny that the clock management prior to the half was absurd. I think he does some things really well, fwiw.

I say he is the most under-rated coach in the entire universe. If this team sucks as much as everyone, fans, media, etc, says it does & COach Miles is still, despite how HORRIBLE every single player on the field & every asst coach is for LSU, able to get this team to 5-0, then this guy is the ALL TIME GREATEST COACH EVER!!!!!!!! Give this man a raise!

It's amazing how when we win= He got lucky, his talent is superior, nick saban,
If we lose= he sucks, the staff sucks, we need a new coach, he got outcoached :blah:
The bottom line is the dude is aclass act,he represents LSU as good as you could ask of anyone, and he wins. Maybe, just maybe, he might be a good coach.

I think Miles is a good coach. It was nice to see him put confidence in the offense and go for the 4th down conversion. I also think that after last year, maybe Miles is overthinking things this year. I think the overthinking has also simplified our offense, but I like the playcalling yesterday. I wasnt able to call that many plays when they lined up. Thank god we finally used the play action. Running game helps alot with that

He is not under-rated, though he seems to be a class act and I like the guy. Things like the end of second half clock management are difficult to overlook and that was very disappointing. Hopefully, he's crazy like a fox.

Yes I did. I think there's a lot about Les that the media and fans don't really know. He doesn't play up to them. His attention is to his players, and his players have about as much heart, work ethic, character and fire as any team in the country, and I think it's a reflection of their coach.

I think we only saw a rare glimps of what Miles is really like as a coach and the way he is around his team. He's very firey, we just don't always see it. He's just not going to go around being a rah rah guy with the fans and on the sidelines. I think Chavis is the same way. I think this reflection is played upon negatively by the media and some fans, but you are right, who cares. The man and his teams know how to win and have guts.

Miles teams might get a little out of control sometimes, but it's just a function of getting outside of the hype they are playing with.

What I like best about Miles, it that he knows he made some bad coaching staff decisions last year, and simply went about fixing it in a class way. He gets the job done, both with an excellent staff and with his players.

An inexperienced QB is the only thing holding this team back from a N.C. game, but it is what it is. Some times the chemistry and experience lines up across the board and sometimes it doesn't.

Get ready for Saturday. It's going to be a war.

I'd have to say it s the oline more than the qb, but either way we are improving and maybe we can put it all together this saturday. Its gonna be electric. We have nothing to lose. Everyone thinks Florida is the best. If they win, its just what was supposed to happen. I dont think their is any reason not to let it all hang out against the gators. No excuses for a vanilla offense. I like that Chavis has a decent past against Florida, as well

Do you think this Les's 5th year team is better than Saban's 5th year team. I do -- that's a good measure of him as the leader of this program. This team is all his -- Saban has nothing to do with it.

He needs to work on his game management, he had obviously done a great job of getting his players ready, game plan was good, but he did a horrible job in the 1st half..
Even Ritch said it could have been 28-0..

Maybe not the absolute best with the x's and o's, but he seems to have a force of will that his players latch onto. Represents us well, few brushes with the law, and when there are, he deals with it swiftly. Rather have Les than Big Game Bob!

If we can hang on to our players and minimize attrtion , we would be very dangerous. He is doing a great job with what he has. We just can't keep olineman. The trend has continued this year with carnell ainsworth leaving already. Despite this he continues to win
