How does "local politics" have anything to do with racism? Seriously what am I missing?

"local politics..." is code. Hate to break it those whom so quickly dismiss it. You don't have to have some widespread global plot for racism to exist and be expressed in this context.
I can't say, I don't know, and I will not accuse Brando as being a racist (though many of us here agree he's an idiot).

Kinda like the good ol' "athleticism" tag given to teams and players, as if we don't what these announcers and pundits are really talking about.

BTW, there was another 15-yd. penalty against that Ga. RB who was carrying on and the ref threw the flag just as the dude walked by him (who knows what he said?).

The game did have a happy ending, at least for the LSU fans here. The Tigers won, and a lot of players from both schools briefly prayed together on the field shortly after it ended. Not bad, considering all those crazy penalties and following a really tough & competitive game that went down to the wire.
