I was in Atlanta two weeks ago and there was a massive speed trap on the East side of Cummings GA, around exit 37.
There was a trooper standing on an overpass with the radar gun and about 20 sheriffs and troopers on the other side of the hill.

Coming from LA....take I-85 through the heart of Atlanta and stay on I-85 towards South Carolina outside the perimeter (I-285), then take Hwy 316 straight into Athens....stay off Hwy 78 and other back roads....2 lane speed traps.
Everyone takes 316 off I-85 to get to Athens, simplest, fastest route.
