you need to be on campus Friday afternoon to see the influx of RV's....and the beginnings of the various tailgates....

i brought some NYC natives down a couple of years back and we broke them...they couldn't believe what they were seeing.....

don't wear blue and orange as earlier said, but wear your own colors showing that you are visiting with an LSU cap......

this is going to be beyond your wildest expectations since there hasn't been a game between two teams ranked this high since 1959....and it's florida with the hated meyer and tebow....

food----gator (seriously) be willing to bet that at least one out of 5 tailgates will have some sort of alligator dish.....my home tailgate is having elk sauce piquante!!!

That and for them to see The Golden Band from Tigerland march down the hill and play Pregame. I know several New Yorkers that immediately became LSU fans upon seeing that.

How are you doing, Butch?

Good advice. You want people to know you came all the way down to cheer for LSU. They'll treat you like kings.

DO NOT go to New Orleans Friday night. You should be in BR and out tailgating by 9am, and you can't do that if you stay in New Orleans Friday night. Don't miss a second of the gameday experience.

Musts for gameday:
- Get out as early as you can and be ready for free beer and the best food you'll ever eat.

- Watch the band come down the hill. Its really cool.

- Stand around the PMAC and try and get a TAF member to invite you inside to watch the band.

- Get in the stadium early. YOU CANNOT MISS PREGAME. This is the most important. Tiger Band's pregame performance is widely known as the craziest, loudest pregame in all of college football. The place will be absolutely ape shite, and you cannot miss it.
