Going to New Orleans is a good idea. However, if you really want to spend Friday night in BR, you should consider Chimes, which is just north of the Campus on Highland. The food is not great, but its pretty good. You can buy LSU stuff right across the street.

THX for the Friday & game day ideas. This will help maximize the LSU experience! As opposed to being lost on campus with no game plan.
