Line Spacing

I seem to recall a couple of years back that Miles figured out that line spacing or lack of same was the issue and once that was corrected the running game really picked up. Anyone recall this? Maybe is the line is spread out it will stop the opposing defense from stacking up on the line.

I think some of the running problems are mental at this point. Players missing assignments from OL to WR to FB not blocking in unison.
USC is having similar running problems right now too and have more returning OL starters than LSU.
Look at the Saints last year who couldn't run a lick, now with pretty much the same personnel except for Mike Bell and Jamal Brown they can't be stopped.
