I'm actually glad Brees did not put up ridiculous numbers

because what that shows is that the Defense has become reliable and the run game can take over. When all three phases are clicking plus the special teams...watch out!! the Saints will be dangerous

I agree. Didnt help me in the fantasy league today though.

It was good to see the D give up only one TD and that was only on some trickery. Thomas was impressive in the second half.

technically, the D didn't give up that TD, but I guess the stat counts against them anyway.

Winner Winner Chicken Dinner!

I remember that when Brees had an off game last year that we really had no chance to win. This proves that the coaching and personnel staff addressed this problem. Brees throwing for under 200 yards? No need for concern.

I am still trying to wrap my mind around the fact that I am actually watching the Saints.
