I disagree with playing all 11 teams each year, but it would be nice to have it rotate a bit so everyone plays teams in the opposite division in equal amounts.

The reason I disagree with this is because I think we need more OOC games to assert the SEC's superiority (or inferiority) over other conferences. If the SEC has a down year or an up year overall, how would we (or more importantly, the pollsters) know? We need to compete with other conferences a bit more than just one OOC game a year.

This.

Even now, people from other conferences are claiming media bias for the perception that the SEC is the best. The argument is always that we never play quality OOC teams.

If we played 11 SEC teams in one season, there is no way in hell an AD is going to want to schedule a quality team like VT, Cal, OKlahoma st. ect ect. The focus on the strenght of the conference (which we now enjoy) could be lost nationally with pollsters with fewer teams being able to survive that gauntlet with less than 2 losses..........fewer teams remaining ranked at the end of the year.
