Who sponsors the tailgate just north of the Indian Mounds?

Walking from the stadium to the Kirby Smith parking lot after the game on Saturday, I passed by an epic, unique tailgate just north of the Indian Mounds. It comprised a series of interconnected white tents. The tent farthest west was fully enclosed by white side panels and featured flashing, multicolored strobe lights. I believe there was also a fog machine somewhere nearby (I kid not). The tents to the east had open sides and white Christmas lights festooned across the top like garland. Large fans were positioned in the upper corners. Inside, a throbbing throng of people were dancing to a DJ.
It was pretty cool. I presume it must be sponsored by one of the fraternities or some other organization. Does anyone know?

Wow, I have to admit that I am surprised the tailgate was created by a church. It looked like a mobile dance club.

I know exactly what your talking about. Walked right by it. I had such a horrible head ache after the game the lights and loud music made it ten times worse. Looks like they were having a good time though. My bet is that at least half of those people left the game before it was over to go back to that little spot.

It's a bunch of older fraternity guys in their mid to late 20's.

It's not the Methodists. How do I know? Because I tailgate there.
There are some other guys that post on this site that tailgate there as well.
It is a group of guys in our mid to late 20's. Most are former fraternity members.

Sounds like you guys are still in college with all the young women I saw there (16 to 18 years of age). You guys must be on the college retirement plan, trust me, "its not worth it"

Wow, I can't believe we've gotten to the point that we have "I heard it was so and so's tailgate" and "no I heard it was these people..." talk on a message board.
It's not the methodists and its not lake charles guys. It's tailgate name or whatever is "PGA Tailgating" and yes, it's made up by a bunch of old fraternity members and their friends. There are 2, count'em 2 LC guys in the group that does the work for it and one of those guys (who's name is TigerTree) will tell you on a daily basis how much better NOLA is than any other city in the state. So really only 1 LC guy. The rest are from BR, Lafayette, and Bossier.
and we had 16 - 18 year old girls there??? awesome! All I saw was girls in their 20's though with a few people's little sisters tagging along with their parents during the day (yes, we're family friendly)
But yeah, we're pretty much the best tailgate out there and LSU won't put us on the damn screen as Tailgaters of the game. Assholes.

unfortunately, the females are mostly the same age as us...there might be a Methodist or two in our group.

NOLA > LC > the rest of the state
We plan on getting a spot light for the Florida game so you'll be able to find us from anywhere in BR. We also plan on getting a space walk for one game.

just another reason I'm glad my wife's first gameday experience will be the UF game. She has no idea how rabid the fanbase is.
