when Sanchez declared early for the NFL draft.

Carroll knew that Aaron Corp was not a prime time player and there was no way to know at the time whether or not Matt Barkley would be ready as a true freshman.

from what I've seen in practices. yes. As bad as Corp is Mitch is even worse, which is a mind frick because Corp may be the worst QB to touch a football for USC in a long long time

PC- dont think Sanchez is ready for the pros yet. Apparently that means starting QB job in NFL.

Wasn't Corp considered the starter not too long ago?

This just in -- UW has a pretty good defense, so that might have something to do with it, too.

Sadly, PC's criticizm of Sanchez seems to have been more about what was good for PC and far less what was good for Sanchez. Lousy approach.

Had Sanchez stayed he'd be coming out in the 2010 class with a slew of other highly touted QBs. Sanchez's decision was spot on.

The fact that PC and his staff cannot attain marginal competence out of the #2 and #3 nationally rated QBs in '06 and '07 respectively speaks volumes IMO.

Corp has a throwing motion that resembles my Mom's....It's known as the 2 handed Push Pass.

Very true. The 2010 draft is going to be loaded with great quarterbacks and Sanchez is no where near the top of that crop. He did the smart thing for himself and it pissed Carroll off.
