Everybody think back to Matt Mauck's first few games before he got hurt in 2002. How accurate was he early that season? Then think about how much better he was by the start of the next season. One of the main reasons that he said his accuracy improved was that, because of the injury, he had to learn to set his feet more and become a pocket passer. Just look at the results in one year with the right instruction. If JJ puts in the work and is trained properly by the staff, then his mechanics should get a lot better.
