i didnt care for it, either. it was not how I thought it would be. the texture of the cracklins were too small and made me think i was hurting my teeth. Also, the noodles were different. it was like vermicelli rice noodles, again not what i remember palabok being.

While I dont think the dish I tried was very authentic, it was a tasty dish. I got the steak and onions (but the onions only came with 3 tiny onion slices, so i asked for more). I just got rice as my side. Based on my experience, i would go again.

next time i will try the ubi cake
