It was summertime and they had a MLB baseball game on. If you're in Eastern Europe, it's probably your best bet besides espn360.com.
I was also in Minsk, Belarus that summer. There was some little pub with disgusting food that had a soccer game on. But please stay out of that country if you value your life/sanity/hygiene. No American anything there. No intelligent life from what I could surmise.

In Cape Town, across Piernaar Street from the telephone booth that doubles as the South African LSU Alumni HQ, you will find the Springbok Pub.
Trouble is, when you have a 7 PM kickoff in Tiger Stadium, it is 3 AM Sunday over here. So you must keep buying rounds for all the rugby fans to keep the bar open through the entire game.
Yes, they can drink that much. And they've learned to love LSU football.
