No, LSU is playing like a team that doesn't want to repeat the mistakes of last year ... i.e. put a young QB in position to make mistakes and lose confidence.

I think that that may be a big part of it. I mean Jarret Lee cost us several games last year because of young mistakes. But here is one thing...Jordan Jefferson isn't Jarret Lee!!!

You mean playing to best assure a win, and not a wide open, "I think I'll just try and please the crowd" type play. If that's what you mean, then yes, we are apparently doing that. Have never seen so much pissing and moaning over a 2-0 start in my life.

We don't have the luxury of seeing practices, but I trust that the coaches know what JJ is and is not comfortable with. I'm pretty sure he doesn't have a grasp of the entire playbook yet, so why put him in a position that may set him up for failure ... unless the game is truly on the line, which it has not been to this point in the season.
