There are few posts on here today about the LSU passing game being dominated by side line to side line passes. I have to wonder, were you folks watching the same game that I was?
1st Quarter: Down field pass badly overthrown to Chris Mitchell in the end zone.
Missed Bradon Lafell down the field (20 yards pass LOS)as pass was in the ground. Recall that this was the pass initially called caught and then overruled as incomplete.
Missed Deangelo Peterson on a fly route down the side line.
2nd Quarter: RL Jackson completion 20 plus yards.
Missed Tolliver in the end zone, over threw him.
Long pass to Lafell caught at the 5 yard line at end of half. LM kicked FG.
3rd Quarter: Long completion to Chris Mitchell down the field.
4th Quarter: Threw to Dickson, over threw him at the goal line, holding on Vandy on Dickson.
I just do not see it as some of you folks. I think JJ manages the game very well, but as a passer he is not very accurate and his passes lack a tight spiral, which can prove difficult to catch. Just ask yourself one question. Had all the passes indicated above would have been caught, would you be bitching and griping about a lack of north south passing game? I wonder if some of you were unduly influenced by the commentators and especially Hurard who repeated several times "LSU needs to throw the ball down the field". Well if this a-hole would stop overloading his mouth and pay attention to the game he was calling he would not have made that comment. Think for yourselves people, most of these announcers do not know jack shite and just run their mouths.

+1.
I watched the first half today and thought the same thing.
