Wow, the rant really needed another one of these threads. Good job. And as the years go on, I hope you find better things to do with your time than dig through past posts and repost them.

bigpapamac, you are a Bama fan & have been since you joined TD.com. Why do you care? Why are you calling an LSU fan a loser when he has 2 Cystal Footballs in the display case to look at? Whatcha' got? 1 SEC western divisional title in a DECADE?

The last coach to actually win a NC at Bama was Gene Stallings, who tore your boy Saban a new arsehole yesterday on Finebaum. He questioned Saban directly several times on hs Defense & his use of QBs in particuliar. But he did the standard pablum feeding of Bama fans....then this happened: (Not verbatim but close)

Bama fan 2 part question:

1. "What makes Coach Saban a Winner?"

Stallings: "He didn't win at Miami now did he? He's more a college type coach anyway. Had Prothro not got injured when he did, there is a good chance Coach Shula would still be here."

2. "What would you tell a parent of a recruit & why the recruit should he committ to Coach Saban now that he's got his contract extention?"

Stallings: "I would tell recruits not to committ to a Coach, because a lifetime contract doesn't mean much anymore, lots of things can happen nowadays. Didn't Saban break his contract with LSU?" >Finebaum: "Saban broke contracts with Michigan State, LSU & Miami Dolphins" Stallings: "Well, there you go. What makes you think he won't break his contract to Alabama? I never asked a recruit to commit to me. I asked them to commit to Alabama. Heck, I got fired from Texas A&M, I felt bad about all them kids I got to go there. Alabama is bigger than 1 Coach. I know that's not a popular answer or not what some of you want to here."

Finebaum said he considered it the best ever interview with Gene Stallings. I've only listened to Finebaum maybe 5 times in my life.

Sounds to me like Bama fans like youself need to take care of your own bidness. Your NC coach does not seem to have much respect for your new coach. Seemed pretty damned apparent he doesn't think Saban is "Real Alabama Football".
