Wow. Miles of course is looking out for the wellbeing of his players and his team.
I said fans, it was also tongue-in-cheek.

Thus, putting the kid in positions he doesn't have to be in too early isn't the smart decision.
Dude, that game was in play for too long- if not then, when?

Obviously it's about getting JJ comfortable and a residual benefit to this is keeping the fans off his back
What do you know about JJ's comfort level right now? I can tell you HE IS comfortable. He may have been THE most composed out there.

So you guys like to quit early if the going get tough? You have to be 100% certain that that type of offense won't work before you try another, otherwise you will be showing all of your hand early.

As for miles studying Washington. What is there to study. They had a complete overhaul. If it was the same coaching staff, maybe just maybe i can see him feeling the need to study. Heck, Polk and Locker weren't even there at the time, how do you study something like that, in fact if you listen to what the announcer say, Locker lost 15 more lbs, making him even faster.

Now as for them studying us, same coaching staff and it worked for them for the first half, we pushed us then we push them back. Not as hard as we could have but all of those players are learning also.

You can practice as much as you want, but until you get to use what you pratice, it's a moot point.

This sounds like something JJ's mom would say at booster club meeting.
Gees dude, lighten up.
