To beat LSU this season, Washington would have to take advantage of the secondary and our LB's. That would mean using the TE/WR over the middle and going for occassional deep ball.
Washington will not be able to run against LSU as that is our area of strength.
On defensive side of ball Washington will want to double team LaFell and stack the line to attempt to stop Scott/Williams. In obvious passing downs it would be wise to bring extra man as Jefferson is still a young QB. Getting hit a few times could rattle him a bit and if things do not come quickly he may start to force things. This could lead to a fumble or ill advised pass.
Really LSU hurting itself is best way to beat them. Stupid penalties that kill drives, dropped passes, and offense trying to get too fancy and creative.

Will not happen: Speed, size and very tired legs as the game wears on.
