Not only is the ENTIRE band making the trip but TAF has also chartered a plane to fly Mike the Tiger for his first road trip. As I write, his trailer is on the road so we'll be able to drive him around the track before the game!!!

I understand the cheerleaders have been practicing holding him on a leash all week around campus. Should be pretty awesome!
We're going to head by the supermarket on our way to the game and get some steaks to throw down to Mike while he tours the track. That should freak out the U Dub faithful!

I doubt it'll freak any of us out. not like we've never seen tigers before... That's cool that he's coming up though, just don't let him near our mascot, heh... We have a new live mascot this year, he's only 8 months old I think and still getting trained. He actually has his own blog, scroll to the bottom to see him back in January...

Didn't the University bring Mike III to some away games? I always thought that that he died in transit coming back from an Ole Miss game or something.

I don't know what they were thinking with that scarf, our past mascots haven't had scarves... A scarf isn't exactly intimidating. Then again, he is still a puppy, not like he's supposed to be scaring anyone
