or the record, we had no damn business even throwing the ball in that 2nd half of the 94 game......as much blame should go to lyn amadee

for the record, I've always held Curley responsible for that.

the fanbase's perception of Jamie Howard may still, 15 years later, be the most ignorant topic out there

OK, please enlighten us on the great, misunderstood Jamie Howard.

I'd also like to add, I don't hate him or anything, I just don't think he was a good QB. In his defense, he was on some bad teams. Though in 95 the team seemed to play better in the 2nd half of the year, when Tyler took over.

Howard is 4th alltime in LSU history in both yards and touchdowns. Now, we can argue that he may be too high on the list due to his high number of starts, but thinking he is one of the least productive QB's in LSU history is just flat untrue.

Howard put up with more jerks than anyone else in LSU history. Leave the guy alone. He played his heart out for some pretty bad teams, and was actually a productive SEC QB. He was certainly better than Loup and Hill, two other QB's from the same era.

Melvin Hill = purple pants game
