Excellent article by Mike Detillier:
D-Line
Agree with him this is our biggest question mark this year. But I was shocked that he said our LBs are as good as any team's in the country and will be the strength of the D. Thoughts?

I don't think I would call Alem,Levingston, Woods, Alexander, and Nevis young, maybe not veterans, but they've got a couple of seasons under their belt. As I recall most of this group were 4 stars. They just need good coaching. Maybe the guy was referring to Hicks, Montgomery, Downs or Davenport when he used the term "young".
I still believe coaching was the biggest problem on the D last year. This season should prove out this statement.
We can win some games this year if we limit the opposition to 2 or 3 touchdowns.

The San Francisco 49ers selected defensive tackle Ricky Jean-Francois in the seventh round of the recent draft. The Carolina Panthers signed defensive tackle Marlon Favorite to a free-agent contract, and LSU reserve defensive end Tremaine Johnson signed with the Minnesota Vikings.
Defensive end Kirston Pittman signed a free-agent contract with the St. Louis Rams but was released before training camp started.
no real impact as far as these guys are concerned...

D-line recruiting suffered under Dunbar, which is one of the reasons he is no longer here.
