Then, if we return to our 2007 state, we really can destroy Alabama and Ole Miss
We didn't destroy these teams during 2007 and they are better than they were then and we aren't as good.
Reality check here, man. We all love to be the eternal optimists, but the fatass reality is that you don't blow out good SEC teams, especially on the road.
Expecting to go 4-0 or 3-1 against 4 top 12 teams, 3 of which are on the road is completely unrealistic. Can it happen, yes...but highly unlikely.
Winning the games we should win and splitting the 4 tough games would be a very successful year in my opinion. 2010, we come loaded for bear!

We did destroy Ole Miss in 2007... We were on our way to destroying Alabama in 2007, but kinda got lost along the way...
Maybe destroy is too big a term.
"Win Convincingly"
"Take them out of their game"
"Handle easily"
etc.

quote:Not even close. There are far, FAR more posters on this board who would much rather obsess on anything wrong, bad or unpleasant about LSU than anything good. Optimism is virtually taboo on this board, punishable by the dreaded "homer" label, as if automatically assuming the worst about everyone and everything Purple & Gold was someone more objective or "cooler" than actually having faith or (god forbid) hope.
We all love to be the eternal optimists
