My family's thoughts and prayers go out to your dear friend, Mark.

If you and Kevin's friends and family are looking for an inspirational story for Kevin to relate to, I have one for you.

My best friend Chuck from Vegas just had a heart and kidney transplant in late March after waiting for six months in a hospital bed. He is only one of three people in history to have both transplants done on the same day. I flew from Chicago to visit Chuck for about the sixth time in six months on Good Friday. This trip was much different than the last five. In an unbelievable turn of events, I wheeled him out of the hospital that day, which was only two weeks to the day after coming out of his surgeries. We were stunned when the doctors walked in and said that they were discharging him.

He is doing so well now that they in fact released him from having to stay in Tucson six months earlier from when they previously told him that he would have to stay there to be close to the transplant center. He just moved back home to Vegas three days ago.

I would hope that Kevin would read my friend's success story and know that anything is possible :-)
