I just signed my 9-year old son up for the Mike's Kid's Club. He is has Autism, but is high functioning and loves mascots - Mike being his favorite, of course. Anyone have any experience with the club before?

By the way, we live in Auburn, so we'll be making long trips whenever something comes up. Of course we won't be in Baton Rouge all the time, just when there is a big event.

Any responses from parents who have participated in the events before is gladly appreciated.

Thanks & Geaux Tigers,
Michael

I've heard that Mike really likes kids---with biscuits and gravy---so be careful.

jk--Hope you and your kid have a great time with this.

I helped raise a boy with autism. I learned more from him than I ever taught him.

Your child will be amazing. Its tough and different, but well worth the time. He can do anything.

I would highly recommend him going to regular classes in school.
